 Current Transfer Speculation at Manchester United: Red Devils Initiate Inquiries Regarding Possible Acquisition of Marc Cucurella


According to information from Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United has initiated discussions with Chelsea regarding the potential loan transfer of Marc Cucurella. The Red Devils are actively seeking a left-back due to injuries sustained by Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia. Allegedly, they've compiled a shortlist of three potential players, among whom is the Spaniard, particularly considering his lack of favor at Chelsea.



Romano has conveyed that Manchester United hasn't yet submitted an offer or engaged in negotiations. The club is presently exploring the available options in the transfer market. Nonetheless, the journalist has disclosed that the team is indeed in the process of acquiring a new left-back, although the primary target is still under consideration.

As per insights shared by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Crystal Palace has successfully secured an agreement to bring goalkeeper Dean Henderson on board in a transfer valued at approximately £20 million. The 26-year-old has encountered challenges in securing ample playing time at Old Trafford and has been linked with a potential departure this summer. Despite interest from Nottingham Forest, recent reports suggest that Crystal Palace has emerged as the leading contender to secure Henderson's services.

According to Romano, the deal is contingent on Henderson passing a medical examination, with Crystal Palace expected to make a payment of £15 million upfront along with an additional £5 million in performance-related add-ons to Manchester United. Moreover, it has been noted that Manchester United is poised to acquire Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir for €7 million as a replacement.

As per information from The Telegraph, Manchester United has authorized Dean Henderson to undergo a medical assessment at Crystal Palace in anticipation of a potential transfer.
